How to prepare
- Prepare couscous following instructions on package, and adding 2 teaspoons of turmeric.
- Prepare the meatballs: Mix together all ingredients for meatballs. Form into small balls and fry lightly until outside of meatballs look cooked.
- Prepare gravy: Lightly fry the garlic, and then add the tomatoes, olives, tomato sauce, water and spices. Bring to a boil and add the meatballs. Cook for about 30 minutes on low heat.
- Serve meatballs on a bed of couscous, with gravy poured over.
